Enclosed on all sides by fluid in a chamber-like place.  That which is, in the American English dialects, referred to as "the womb". Everyone has a beginning, but before the beginning there's not much of anyone.  It's just... symbiosis.  Imagine is like this: closing your eyes and plugging your ears and numbing your whole body so you cannot sense anything... (sights, sounds, heat, pressure, equilibrium.. no hands or feet yet, and certainly no face.)  Scientists try replicating the effect in people by placing them into total immersion chambers.  The idea is to cut off all the senses from the outside world so that all you can do is see inside.
